Core Consultants is an independent commodity research and consulting firm serving investors, mining companies, industrial groups and other decision makers across natural resources markets.

Founded by Lara Smith in 2009, we bring market analysis, project economics and commercial judgement to decisions across critical minerals, ores, alloys and metals.

Our purpose remains the same: to help clients navigate the commodity cycle with sound evidence and practical, independent advice. We test assumptions, explain uncertainty and are willing to challenge consensus when the evidence calls for it.

We remain an independent, family-run company. We reinvest in our research, people and capabilities, guided by the principle that every assignment should add meaningful value to the client.
