Our Recommendation
At the time the first report was published, the lithium ion battery market for electric vehicles was in its infancy and was struggling to move from the realm of academia to commercialisation. The report however identified key trends and suggested that the price of lithium carbonate would continue to rise, though a supply deficit was not apparent.
Outcome
The report was published by a UK-based metal publisher. This report became a best-seller and consequently a follow-up report was commissioned.
