Beny Steinmetz’s Former Ace Analyst Builds Up Team at Core Consultants

This article was taken from African Intelligence

Lara Smith, a former analyst for Beny Steinmetz Group Resources (BSGR), is using her expertise in cobalt to make a name for Core Consultants (CC) among mining firms. She can count on the help of a team of sector experts to do so. One of Smith’s former BSGR colleagues, South African geologist, Iain Bryson, who had cut his teeth at Newmont Mining and then diamond giant De Beers before working for several rare earth projects, is also a consultant for Core Consultants. Another former De Beers geologist, Sofi Napier, works with CC, as does John Parker, who has been assigned to several coppery and cobalt mines in Katanga.
